As per the directive of Lebanon’s Ministry of Commerce, all members and affiliate unions have initiated a strike effective from February 1, 2023. Consequently, Lebanon’s Intellectual Property (IP) Office has also joined the strike, suspending its operations until further notice.
As a result of this industrial action, the IP Office will not be accepting any trademark applications, whether submitted in person or online, until normal operations resume.
However, we want to assure you that the ATB team remains fully operational and committed to providing uninterrupted service. Our team is diligently handling all incoming communications, diligently noting deadlines, and preparing applications to ensure immediate filing and timely responses.
Rest assured that we are closely monitoring the situation and will promptly inform you as soon as the issue is resolved, enabling the resumption of normal operations at the IP Office.
