650,000 Counterfeit Products Worth 23M Dirhams Seized in Major Raid After 24/7 Surveillance

Almost one month of surveillance with 24/7 round the clock monitoring leads us to a successful seizure of 650,000 pieces of counterfeit cosmetics and body care products with a market value of 23 million dirhams.

The premises consist of three warehouses connected to each other and have an upper loft, which is being used as a storage of counterfeit products for the last 10 months.

Due to the amount of goods, we used 26 trucks in total and 92 extra laborers. The goods were equivalent to almost 22 containers, and they were transferred to the DED warehouse. All products were seized and will be in the custody of the authorities until they schedule the date of the destruction.

This remarkable raid action would not be possible without the great efforts of Ras Al Khaimah Authorities.
