As part of the ongoing efforts to combat counterfeiting and protect intellectual property rights across the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Egyptian ATB IP in addition to Egyptian authorities continue to carry out intensive enforcement campaigns targeting illicit activities.

In one such operation, the authorities successfully raided a facility engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of counterfeit automotive accessories bearing the trademarks of several well-known international brands. During the raid, significant quantities of raw materials used in the production process were seized, along with finished goods ready for distribution, all unlawfully bearing forged trademarks.
Inspection of the premises revealed that the manufacturing environment was highly unsanitary and disorganized, failing to meet even the most basic standards required for safe and proper production. Such conditions inevitably result in substandard products, posing serious risks to consumers while simultaneously damaging the reputation and integrity of the legitimate brand owners.

This case highlights the critical importance of taking firm action against such illegal operations. Eliminating these counterfeit networks not only safeguards the rights of trademark owners but also ensures consumer protection and promotes the availability of genuine, high-quality products in the market.
ATB company reaffirms its full commitment to supporting these enforcement efforts and to working closely with the relevant authorities in combating counterfeiting activities, preserving brand value, and maintaining a fair and transparent marketplace.
