In a major operation against counterfeit apparels, a successful raid was conducted by the Sri Lanka Enforcement Authorities partnered with ATB Intellectual Property has resulted in the discovery of massive counterfeit apparels of various well-known brands.
Following an extensive investigation our team successfully located the facilities of the target involved. Remarkably, the facility was not only functioning as a wholesaler but also operated a vast manufacturing area equipped with sewing machines used to produce counterfeit garments labelled with various well-known brands. The raid resulted in the confiscation of all the stocks, with a sample retained as evidence for further authentication and potential legal proceedings.
The successful operation conducted against the importer of counterfeit garments marks a notable milestone in the continues fight against counterfeiting in Sri Lanka.
