Through a joint effort between ATB Intellectual Property and Egyptian authorities, a successful enforcement action against a manufacturing facility was carried out.
The facility, specialized in the production of counterfeit jeans, served as a primary source for major wholesalers in the region. A total of 40,000 counterfeit jeans, along with materials, sewing machines, accessories, and threads, were seized.
ATB Intellectual Property is now working closely with local authorities in Egypt to combat counterfeiting. The goal is not only to protect our client brands but also to take down illegal manufacturers, sellers, and importers that pose a risk to public. This is a clear signal that efforts to stop counterfeit goods are in full swing. We are working towards creating a safer marketplace, free from counterfeit and harmful products.
