Demonstrating the strong commitment to brand protection and consumer safety, ATB intellectual property with the support of the Egyptian Police, has successfully conducted a raid on a major counterfeit clothing accessories manufacturing facility.
The factory, structured across three levels, was found to be fully equipped for large-scale production. It specialized in manufacturing various clothing accessories using different materials including leather and metal. Among the items produced were buttons and a wide array of other fashion-related components. The site contained numerous industrial machines and substantial quantities of raw materials such as metal stocks and leather rolls, indicating a well-established and organized operation.
During the raid, approximately 100,000 pieces of counterfeit clothing accessories were seized. The operation further revealed the existence of an additional warehouse used by the trader to store large quantities of these fake products prior to distribution.
This illegal operation has been linked to a wide distribution network supplying counterfeit accessories to various traders across the region. The presence of such counterfeit goods in the market not only misleads consumers but also poses a serious threat to the legitimate clothing accessories trade, undermining fair competition and product integrity.
