In line with the ongoing efforts of the competent authorities to strengthen control over ports and strategic areas, a container was successfully seized in the Ain Sokhna area after being found to contain thousands of counterfeit perfume bottles fully prepared for distribution to wholesale and retail traders across the Arab Republic of Egypt.
As part of the Egyptian Customs Authority’s continuous enforcement efforts, carried out in close coordination with ATB, substantial quantities of empty counterfeit perfume bottles were also confiscated. All necessary legal measures have been taken against the seized shipment in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
