Massive Counterfeit Sneaker Operation Dismantled in Egypt: Over 50,000 Pairs Seized.

In a significant blow to the counterfeit goods industry, ATB Intellectual Property, in collaboration with Egyptian authorities, carried out a significant raid resulting in the seizure of over 50,000 pairs of counterfeit sneakers. Alongside the fake footwear, the operation uncovered substantial quantities of raw materials, including PVC granules, threads, and manufacturing equipment.

The facility spanned multiple buildings and floors, employing more than 100 workers actively engaged in producing counterfeit goods. This underscores the industrial scale at which counterfeit sneakers were being manufactured.

This successful operation marks a pivotal step in curbing the proliferation of counterfeit goods, particularly within the fashion and footwear sectors. By disrupting the production and distribution chain, the raid sends a strong message to counterfeiters while safeguarding the interests of genuine brands and consumers alike.
