In a significant win against counterfeit trade, ATB IP team recently carried out a highly successful raid operation in Sri Lanka, in close collaboration with local enforcement authorities. The joint action led to the seizure of approximately 3,500 counterfeit products, including motor oil and a variety of automotive spare parts.
The counterfeit goods, which imitated well-known brands, posed significant risks to consumer safety and product performance. The successful removal of these fake items from the market represents a key victory in the ongoing fight against intellectual property violations.
